Introduction

All our guests are offered a warm welcome and we endeavour to cater for everyone’s needs. We have 2 bedrooms with en suite facilities. We offer a wonderful full English breakfast made with fresh local produce. We can cater for other dietary requirements upon request.

Pre-Arrival

• Washwalk Mill is in a rural situation away from bus routes.
• The nearest station is Totnes approximately 10 miles away - we can arrange for collection by prior arrangement.
• It is recommended you arrive at the house by car or taxi.
• Details of how to get here by car are on our website (taxi details given below - we can make bookings for you).
• Both rooms are on the first floor - pictures and details on our website.
• We can be contacted by phone and by email via the contact page on the website.

Arrival and Car Parking

• There is plenty of room for parking - guests may drive up to the front door to unload their bags but are requested to move their cars to the parking area by the garage so that deliveries etc may turn more easily by the house.
• We can assist with luggage if required.
• The driveway is tarmac and level.

Main Entrance and Reception

• There is a small step of 12cm onto flagstones laid to the front door.
• There are three steps of 14cm up to the front door into the lobby and a further step of 16cm into the hall of the house.
• Reception and registration is completed in the dining room.
• Guests are given a front door key upon arrival and escorted to their room and the facilities are explained.
• The staircase is straight with 13 risers to landing with a handrail on the left hand side.

Public Areas - General

• The lounge and the dining room are on the ground floor both of which are carpeted.
• There is a downstairs WC under the staircase for use of the guests.
• There is a stone terrace off the lounge for guests use with 3 steps of 18cm down to stone terrace and a further 14cm step from terrace to the lawn.
• Guests may use the garden. The River Gara runs through the garden.
• Breakfast is served in the dining room that has an oblong oak dining table which cannot be moved, with an under space of 70cm.

Bedrooms

• The bedrooms are en suite and are carpeted throughout - one has a double bed - one has twin beds.
• The double bedded room has a bath with a hand shower attachment.
• The twin room has a bath with a full shower attachment.
• Both bedrooms have tv/dvd, hairdryer, hot water bottle, toweling dressing gowns, tea/coffee making facilities.

Laundry

• There is a small laundry and iron available upon request.
